International Man of Mystery

Buongiorno, Italia! Last week, mommy booked a trip to Italy for us! I can't wait to go, but she tells me that I will have to wait until the end of October. In the mean time, I will have to brush up my Italian. Even though I've technically already been to Italy, I don't really count it because I was inside of mommy--and she didn't even know I was there. This time, I'll be crawling or maybe even walking, and I will even have my very own passport! Needless to say, I think I am pretty cool. My grandparents--every last one of them--strongly object to my becoming an international bebe at such a young age. Personally, I think they are protesting only because each one of them secretly thinks he/she will get to keep me if mommy and daddy leave me at home. Fat Chance.

I practiced traveling this weekend when I went to a wedding in Pennsylvania. It was a lot of fun when mommy and daddy let me stay up late on Friday night...but not so much fun when we all paid the price the next day. Mommy at least was able to make it to about 45 minutes of the six hour reception.

We returned home early this afternoon after picking Winnie and Tuffy up from Happy Tails. They are clearly drained from their weekend at doggie day care and have not moved since coming home - not even to look for kitty cats outside. I gave daddy his father's day presents, which he seemed to like (but clearly was a little disappointed that I hadn't sprung for the $700 golf academy weekend he wanted). Now, I'm going to head upstairs for a nap in my very own crib (something I missed while I was away) and dream about floating through the Venetian canals in a gondola. Only four and a half months to go!

  1. Well, Mr. T., it looks like none of us grandparents win so guess we will settle for the other boys, like as in doggies to sit with. I do hope you enjoy going back to Italy. Glad you enjoyed the wedding, I was hoping for pictures of you all dressed up. We are counting the days to see you again, it seems ages and I know you have changed so much and are doing so many tricks now. Have a good week. Love, Nana

  2. Your great Aunt Sherri - and I do mean Great- thinks that you'll be giving all those Italian bebes a run for their lira! You will definitely be the most well traveled and handsome baby there. I'm afraid Fort O in July will be a little boring in comparison for you-but you will definitely get a true picture of your southern heritage! I love you and can't wait to see you!

  4. Your dear great aunt sherri must not know much about them there computers since she published the same thing 3 times!!! ha ha

I can pick on her because she is my baby sister. However, she is correct about seeing your heritage. I can show you where your mommy cheered, yes your mommy was a falcon cheerleader. She did have a little trouble pronouncing the words so I will fill you in when you are a little older. I can also show you where your mommy almost learned to ride a bike!! We will count on Daddy to teach you that.

Your great nanny can't wait to see you. She talks to your picture every morning. We will have a good day with her

    Love
    Gran
