Meet My New Friend

Mommy's friends, Lezlie and David, came to visit this weekend. They brought their 7-week old baby, Lucas, with them. I can't believe I was ever that little, but mommy and daddy assure me that I was. I tried to teach him all of my tricks, especially my ear piercing shriek, but he didn't seem terribly interested in learning any new vices.

Speaking of vices, I have a new one. I learned to spit out food I don't like. I clench my two and a half teeth together and let it (most recently, "it" was a turkey vegetable dinner) squeeze through them while I'm smiling. One thing you will not find me spitting out, however, is my new favorite food, cheese. I can't get enough of it. Mommy had a food contest for me the other day. She put cheese, cheerios, and frozen peas on my tray to see which one I would eat first. Not surprisingly, I went for them in that order. Mommy, whose favorite food is also cheese, was thrilled to see that I really am her son after all.

  1. Hey Mr. T when you go to the farm with me you can spit anywhere you want to and anytime you want. You can even do other things off the front porch, but you are going to have to be a little older before you master that one. I like the picture of you and that little boy, in fact I think you should go ahead and see if Mommy is willing to get you a brother. Just tell her she's burning daylight. Anyway, keep on learning new tricks so you can entertain all the guys at the hunting camp and I'll see you soon. Uncle Bud.

  2. NANNY IS GLAD YOU MADE A NEW FRIEND! I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH SPITTING OUT FOOD YOU DON'T LIKE THAT'S THE ONLY WAY YOU HAVE OF LETTING MOMMY AND DADDY KNOW YOU WOULD PREFER ICE CREAM AND CAKE INSTEAD! NANNY WILL TAKE CARE OF THAT PROBLEM.I MUST ADMIT YOU SEEM MORE IMPRESSED WITH YOUR LITTLE GIRL FRIENDS THAN YOUR GUY FRIENDS. I GUESS THIS MAKES YOU A LADIES MAN. NANNY LOVES YOU AND FINDS NO FAULT IN ANYTHING YOU DO. LOVE YOU. NANNY

  3. Mr. T- I wish I could have met you when you came to town in July. You are just the cutest thing and obviously the apple of your mommy's eye. I keep an eye on your blog to watch how much you're growing and to see what kinds of fun things you're doing. I bet you and Landen would be good buddies. Be good for mommy! Lindsey
