July Snapshots

Mommy has arranged for Kierra, who lives down the street, to come play with me on Wednesday mornings. Kierra, who is from New York, found my Yankees jacket (which mommy had hidden) and put it on me. Mommy about died - until she saw that I had on my Braves hat as well.

W and I may differ on many things, but if there is one thing we agree on, it is that the Fourth of July STINKS! All of those loud explosions make both of us supremely nervous. We decided to sleep together to make sure we'd be safe.

Mommy and I made Play-Doh trains. This is Gordon, "the biggest and fastest engine on the Island of Sodor." Behind him are Thomas and James.

We've been spending a lot of time at the pool this summer. I'm STILL talking about the Pool Party we went to three weeks ago!

In case you were wondering what Hadley does while we're at the pool, here's a glimpse. Looks pretty boring to me, but she doesn't seem to mind. Note her kicked-up feet - she's always doing that!

Giving Papa Cecil a tour of the club.

  1. Thatcher,
Your mom is sooo cool for letting you play with PlayDough! That was always one of my favorite toys.Your tains looked great. I'm glad you're having a great summer and getting to swim a lot. My only advice is to lose the Yankees jersey!

    Love,
    Aunt Sherri

  2. Thatcher - Nana had such a great time visiting you until your Mom had to drop me off at the airport. We will have to make other arrangements in the future. We are so excited about your visit to Kentucky. You have a great week and keep up the good work with the big boy stuff. I love you, Nana
