Sorry I've been away for a few days. I'm still recovering from my first Kentucky Derby (or is it daddy who is still recovering???)! We had a big weekend. Mommy ended up letting me have some quality bonding time with daddy Friday night while she went out with some old friends from work. Secretly, I was worried they were going to ask her to become the new director of CIA, but she assures me that she won't leave me anytime soon. Whew. Saturday, of course, was the Derby, and I had to spend the evening watching mommy tell daddy that I'm too young to have bourbon. Sunday, we went to church and then had the Webers over for dinner. Amidst all of this activity, mommy thought perhaps it would be a good time to try switching me to a four hour schedule. She is an idiot. The four hour thing worked really well in the morning, but I was in meltdown mode by the afternoon.
In other news, I'm becoming fast friends with my hands! They provide an endless source of entertainment. I'll let you know as soon as I'm able to get my entire fist in my mouth. I've been working on it, but haven't quite mastered the skill yet. I can, however, put my rattle in my mouth...when it doesn't hit my nose or my eye or my forehead by mistake. Hey, I'm not even 14 weeks old, so cut me some slack.
Mr. T - I loved your pictures today, what a big laugh. You seem to be such a happy baby, but why not, you got it made. I am so glad you and Mommy have such good times and stay so so busy. I hope your horse won the Derby, someday, your Daddy will take you to the Derby when he owns his own box or maybe even his horse. However, stay away from the bourbon. Here in Kentucky we are all counting the days to show you off. You are getting more handsome everyday. Love You, Nana
